Thorson Sets Dragons Career 3-Point Mark, Here’s The Rest Of The Top 10 In That Category

Minnesota State Moorhead senior Cassidy Thorson became the program’s career leader in 3-pointers made after sinking seven 3-pointers in MSUM’s 86-84 women’s basketball victory against Wayne State on Saturday at Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse.

“Cass knocked big shots down,” Dragons head coach Karla Nelson said of the West Fargo High School graduate.

Thorson finished 7 of 16 from 3-point range against Wayne State for a team-high 25 points. The 5-foot-11 guard has now made 198 from beyond arc in her career with the Dragons. Marisa Yernatich (2009-31) held the old record with 197.
