Minot native, actor and Minnesota Vikings fan Josh Duhamel was at Winter Park earlier this week to watch the Vikings’ organized team activities (OTAs). Duhamel joined Paul Allen’s radio show to talk purple.
Duhamel likes what he saw from Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater during the practice session, noting Bridgewater was connecting on deep passes. Bridgewater is set to enter his third season in the NFL.
“I think Teddy is steady,” Duhamel told Paul Allen. “I think that he is a really talented kid that is going to be a lot better than anybody expects.”
Duhamel is also a fan of how the Vikings are constructed under head coach Mike Zimmer.
“What I love about Zimmer is this team is defense first,” added the 43-year-old Duhamel, who played quarterback at Minot State University.
