Ham Decides To Leave Dragons Football Team Due To Shoulder Issues

Minnesota State Moorhead head coach Steve Laqua said wide receiver Jalen Ham has decided to leave the football program due to reoccurring shoulder problems.

Ham was a redshirt freshman for the Dragons. He had sat out all of fall camp during his true freshman season due to shoulder surgery.

“He was definitely a guy who had great potential, but at the same time we are going to support him in whatever life decisions he decides to make,” Laqua said.

Ham, who went to Central Cass (N.D.) High School, was expected to compete for a starting spot at wide receiver.
