Dragons Get Bigger, Announcing Four Additions

Minnesota State Moorhead bolstered its frontcourt depth, announcing the addition of four big men to its men’s basketball program today.

The Dragons added Ben Figini (6-foot-7, Chisago City, Minn.), Trevor Jorgenson (6-7, La Crosse, Wis.), Isaac Sevlie (6-8, Red Wing, Minn.) and Jake Lindfors (6-10, Elk Grove Village, Ill.). Lindfors is transferring from NCAA Division I Albany after playing two seasons for the Great Danes.

Dragons head coach Chad Walthall thinks all four players are big men who are skilled enough to do some things on the perimeter. He also likes their defensive makeup.

“All four post players are really active defensively and that’s important in our league,” Walthall said.

Based off his playing experience at Albany, Walthall said Lindfors will probably be more ready to play early on. However, he expects a couple of the incoming freshman have a chance to contribute in their first season.
